Project Overview

Harikrushna Pattani and Associates is an architecture and interior design agency. The brief was to build a website that felt as precise and refined as their work — something that would immediately communicate the firm's design sensibility to potential clients.

The project followed a UI/UX-first approach: we started with full design mockups and a defined visual identity before writing a single line of code. The standout design decision was a deliberate black and white theme — clean, minimal, and bold — chosen to reflect the discipline and precision of architecture while giving the site a distinctive, gallery-like feel uncommon in the industry.

Once the design was approved, we developed the website in React with Framer Motion animations to bring the layouts to life with subtle, purposeful motion.

Key Features

• Black & White Design System: A deliberate monochrome palette was chosen to reflect the precision of architectural work and set the website apart visually. Typography, spacing, and imagery work together to create a gallery-like aesthetic.

• WhatsApp Sharing: Users can share specific project pages directly via WhatsApp, making it easy for the client to send portfolio links to prospects.
• Instagram Integration: Live Instagram feed embedded to automatically reflect the firm's latest work and keep the site feeling current.
• WordPress Headless CMS: Projects, blog posts, and homepage content are managed through WordPress as a headless CMS, so the client can add or update work without touching the frontend.
• Multi-Language Support: English and Hindi language options to improve accessibility and reach for local and regional audiences.
• Responsive Design: Fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile — architectural imagery and portfolio sections maintain visual integrity at every screen size.

Challenges & Solutions

• Making the Black & White Theme Feel Alive: A monochrome palette risks feeling flat. We used carefully chosen animation timings, whitespace, and high-contrast typography to keep the design energetic and engaging.
• Performance with High-Resolution Imagery: Architecture portfolios rely on sharp, large-format images. Lazy-loading and responsive image sizing kept load times fast without sacrificing quality.
• Multi-Language Routing: Localized routing was implemented to switch content dynamically by language while keeping URL structures SEO-friendly.

The website successfully communicates Harikrushna Pattani and Associates' creative identity — a refined, gallery-feel platform that stands out among typical architecture firm websites.
